Aims
Promote clinical neurootology in practice and in the field of clinical research; inform doctors and paramedical personnel interested in neurootological diagnosis, paying special attention to tests of functional equilibrium; standardize clinical methods of research and research equipment in the field of neurootology; create functional anthropometric standards (normal values and pathological values) in the field of neurootological testing; prepare expert opinion on clinically proven neurootological malfunctions; develop selection principles for employee recruitment in the fields where functional strain particularly effects neurootological functions of the senses; enable participation, with the help of neurootological and medical viewpoints, in the development of new transport technology and other technologies, where disorientation strain occurs.
